For a long time I've loved Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor. I have been listening to them for atleast 3 years now and my first Manson album was Antichrist Superstar, and it fucked rocked. Got The Downward Sprial and I knew that Trent was like me. The shit he was saying and I knew he knew how I felt. Their two of my favorite groups.

But I still think that Manson is still SO much cooler than Trent Reznor, for a number of reasons. It's not that I don't like NIN, because I do and they rule, but I think Manson knows more about what he's doing and is a better musician and stuff like that. Like:

1. Marilyn Manson is simply a better musician. I have been playing guitar for six months now and I have to say that Ginger Fish is one of the best guitarists evre. Trent's drums are just weaker than MM's and it doesn't look like he is putting as much work in to his msuci as MM does. Just listen to Antichrist Superstar in comparison to The Fragile and you can just tell. Maybe Trent and Ginger could get together and it'll sound so much more kick ass. :) Then there would be a God.

2. MM's lyrics are so much more important than Trent's. Trent has a grasp of what sadness is, but MM is that and some. I mean, he has been working on his Triolgy masterpiece for years now, and it keeps gettin better. Songs like Angel With Scabbed Wings and CryptOrchids are such strong songs. My favorite Trent songs would be March Of Pigs and Closer, but in comparison to things like the The Beautiful People, there is no contest. Trent stil rocks though.

3. Just look at the way Manson dresses and you can tell he is much cooler than Trent. The costumes, the ideas that MM comes up with are simply put, awesome. It doesn't get mchu better. I've seen both live and both fucking rocked but Trent wasn't much a show man. Could have done a lot more with his show. But Manson got on his stilts and everything. It blew my mind.

4. SThis one is going to sound dumb but Manson gets to hang out with Twiggy, and that is just cool. Twiggy is such a spaz, and would be so cool to hang out with. It's not like we know who Trent hangs out with. The only one we know of is Manson... which kinda says something. But Twiggy just rocks, and he's lucky cause he gets to be in an awesome band with Manson.

5. Smply, Manson is just more of a goth, which is what I like about him. Trent is dark, but Manson just pours out darkness. He's some kinda faucet for evil. The costumes rock and his lyrics are so dark. Trent is close, and still fucking great, but Manson still tops it all.

Yeah, so I love MM and NIN, and they are great Rock God's but Mnason just rocks more.
