This is the most gothic movie, EVER! Anyone who disagrees is dumb, and I mean really stupid. This movie has everything a goth wants, cool fights , character who is SOOO cool, crows and swordfights and stuff. There is just no bad point to watching this movie. It is the best.
The movie is about some guy named Eric Draven who is in love with this girl and plans on marying her. Eric's is this cool goth guy who plays in a band called Hanged Men. He is in love with this girl, but she get killed and dies later on, and Eric is thrown out of a window (cause they live on the fifth floor of some building) by the bad guys. They have this teenaged friend who hangs around with them cause her moms a bartender, and she is really important later on.
Anyways, this girl, after Eric and his fiancee die, befriends this cop. Then Eric comes back from the dead to get revenge on the five guys who killed him and his girlfriend. There is this REALLY cool scene where he comes back to his apartment and goes nuts kinda and puts on this relaly cool outfit he has and some makeup and finds out that he is imortal (speculation is that it is because he is already dead)
Eric goes and kill one of the bad guys by stabbing him, and goes after this other guy by blowing up this guys pawn shop, and then kills another bad guy by throwing him out of a window if I can remember (I've only seen it twice though I plan on buying it!) Well the cops start noticinbg that someone is killing all of these people and are trying to bust Eric (The Crow) This really the only dumb point in this movie, cause if I were a cop, and someone was killing all these crooks for me, I'd be happy. But no, the cops come after him.
At one point, the teenaged girl tries to meet up with Eric by playing one of his old records, and he comes and she's all happy. Anyways, the main bad guy who is this really cool goth guy is starting to get pist because all of his friends are dying, so he devices a plan to lure The Crow and kill him. The Crow shows up, but since he is God, he kills everyone in the room in this really action packed scene where he kills everyone in the room. But the bad guys steal his crow which is the source of his power, so The Crow has to go get it back or he is not going to be doing so well.
The Crow chases the bad guys to this cool looking church and they all fight it out. Then the Crow kills the head bad guy by making him remember and fell all of the pain that his girlfriend felt when she died. Then the Crow goes back to his grave.
This movie is really damn cool. It has a good plot, lots of good action, and really dark. Can't ask for much more.
